Save the dates! Club One Casino is hosting the 2010 Central Valley Poker Championships from Sun, Aug 1st through Sun, Aug 8th. Last year’s events drew over 1,400 entrants and prize pools totaling over $115,000. This year’s schedule of events includes several NL events, a partners event, a limit event, an Omaha event and a bounty event, as well as the $5,000 guaranteed Championship. We’ve also added a new $25 buy-in warm-up event at the start of the series.
Like last year, we’ll be offering points for placing in each CVPC event as well as prize money, and at the end of the series, we’ll crown the Overall CVPC Champion. Last year’s overall champion was Club One regular Kevin Lusk. Is this your year?

On April 22-25, Club One Casino will hold its Spring Roll 2010, a 4-day event with a $100 buy-in and a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool. This event will be a springtime repeat of the Winter Deep Freeze which drew over 700 entrants competing for over $60,000 in total prize money. Mark your calendar; it’s a must play event.

On January 14-17, Club One Casino will host the 2nd Annual Winter Deep Freeze with a couple of exciting new twists! First of all, there’s a big $50,000 guaranteed prize pool. Second, this year’s event will include three (3) first days (Day 1A, 1B & 1C). Take a nasty beat on Day 1A and you can come back the next day to try again. On Sunday, June 21st, Club One Casino celebrated Father’s Day by hosting the First Annual Who’s Your Daddy? NL Poker Tournament. Over 130 participants (131 to be exact) ponied up $100 and took a run at a prize pool of $11,135. After almost 6 hours of play, 13 players decided to call it quits and chopped for over $800 each. Player Pete C. took the 1st place honors and a fine fishing rod for his efforts. Congrats to all the entrants!
