This weekend, May 30-31, Club One Casino will host its Summer Deep Heat, a 2-day deep-stack event starting Saturday at 2p.  This event has 10,000 chips, 30 min rounds and a HUGE $50,000 guaranteed prize pool.  All registered players will receive a complimentary buffet starting at 1p and seating is limited to 300 players.  Single table satellites are available all week at Club One Casino.

The 2nd Annual Central Valley Poker Championships will be held from August 2 through August 9, 2009.  The calendar of events has not been finalized but will include NL events from $100-$300 buy-in, an Omaha event and a celebrity bounty event.  Last year’s CVPC series generated a total prize pool of over $125,000, and many of the events will be deep-stack events with 10k chips and 30-minute levels.  This is a series you won’t want to miss, so check back in a couple of weeks for full details!
