Surveillance Officer

  • Controls and operates surveillance cameras and recording equipment, observing employees, customers and visitors physically on or using Club One Casino property ensuring their safety and security.  Operates the Surveillance “Command Center” notifying the proper supervisors or managers of observations relating to Club One Casino Policies and Procedures, state and local laws.
  • Complete continuing education or training as directed by management.
  • Any and all other reasonable duties that may be assigned in the future.

Scope of Authority:

  • Limited to the boundaries set forth in Club One Casino Policies and Procedures.  Limited to the boundaries of the local Law Enforcement Rules of Acting as an ordinary citizen.  

Essential Job Skills:

  • Observe, document and report possible unsafe or dishonest acts, viewed on the Close Circuit Television System (CCTVS).
  • Act as the command center for all portable radio transmissions and communication with staff that are assigned to certain security posts on the premises.
  • Control the arrival of all deliveries to the Casino on a 24 hour basis.
  • Monitor the entry/exit to the facility/premises by employees and customers along with vendors and contractors utilizing the many avenues and equipment provided by Club One Casino.
  • Act as Club One Casino Facility Control Center on a 24 hour basis, ensuring certain Security and Surveillance functions/action are on video disc and that video surveillance discs are monitored in accordance with certain Policies and Procedures, regarding changing, storing, recycling, etc.
  • Monitor all necessary equipment pertaining to the Security and Surveillance of Club One and its premises.  Document and report all necessary issues that arise including functionality, operation, coverage, and clarity.
  • Complete tasks related to Security and Surveillance, whether written or verbal in a timely and professional manner.
  • Produce photos and DVD’s as requested by Security and Surveillance or Casino Management.
  • Must be able to work any shift on a 24 hour operation.
  • Must be able to remain seated for long periods of time and be able to stand the viewing of TV monitor screens for long periods of time.
  • Must meet the grooming standards of Club One Casino.
  • Engage in job related training including but not limited to safety, first aid and casino procedures.
  • Oversee “last call” pick up as directed by floor personnel or food and beverage management.
  • Review surveillance videos.
  • Knowledge of Security and Surveillance policy, procedures, and casino procedures.
  • Liaison to police, fire department, emergency and armored car service.
  • Must maintain a good physical condition to ensure that surveillance staff can respond to safety and security issues quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain tracking of all security, surveillance, and housekeeping employees.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Card Room work permit.
  • Valid California Driver’s license.
